Wind Dancer is playing in Dunedin on 28 July 2010 as part of the Homegrown Dance Series within the New Zealand Film Festival.

Wind Dancer, the film about dancer Shona Dunlop MacTavish that is produced and directed by Wiebke F. Hendry of Green Concrete Films and Lloyd Spencer Davis of Adelie Productions is to have its world premiere on 28 February 2009 at the Regent Theatre in Dunedin, New Zealand.

Lloyd Spencer Davis picked up another award for his writing, getting the Runner's Up Award in the Whitcoulls Travcom Travel Book of the Year Award for his book Looking for Darwin. This is the premier award in New Zealand for travel books and welcome recognition that Lloyd is a travel writer as much as he is someone who writes about science.

The Mayor of Dunedin, Peter Chin, has kindly agreed to front a fundraising campaign for a film about dancer and local icon, Shona Dunlop MacTavish. The documentary is being made by Adelie Productions and Green Concrete Films. Filming is nearing an end and the funds are being sought for post-production.
